Prakritajan, as a national NGO started development activities in 1991 with permission from the respective government departments. Program activities including (a) social mobilization and leadership development among women trough savings, skill development and micro credit populations (b) formal and non formal education from drop outs, street children and for adults, scholarship and education supports to schools (c) health awareness education and preventive heath services for mother and child, Arsenic screening and mitigation, HIV/AIDS education, and  (d ) pollution and social forestry etc. The whole program has a single focus: poverty alleviation.

Parkritajan works through 23 centers spreading all over Bangladesh covering 76,000 people. Women are the prime focus of almost all program activities of Prakritajan and today, under savings and micro credit operation, Prakritajan has succeeded in reaching 8,900 women in activating them in economic activities to make them self-reliant. Education is still the main program agenda to ensure human development in order to transform then into productive human being. The Chairman: Professor A.B.M. Farooque. D.Net: (Development through Access to Network Resource)

D-Net is a leading non-governmental organization registered with the Government of Bangladesh to work in the Internet and information management area in promoting developmental activities in Bangladesh. It has undertaken several projects in promoting computer education and training in their varied aspects by working with various educational institutions and different target groups. D-Net will cooperate with VAB in implementing its Computer Literacy Program.

 

TDC ( Tripartite Development Corporation)

TDC is a private non- profit, non-political & non-religious Humanitarian Voluntary organization.. TDC carries out development activities like as Secondary Education Support Program, Village Level Awareness and Socialization Program on Children & Women Rights, Pre-primary Education, Health Awareness Program, Water & Sanitation Program, Micro Credit Program. The broad objectives of TDC is to improve the Quality of life the underprivileged people especially Children & Women by providing Education, Information, awareness & skill Development with their active participation for self-reliance.  Its specific objectives are: to establish inalienable rights of the Children; to Create opportunity for wider & extensive Education of the Children; to provide basic Education of the underprivileged Children; to assess the improve the Quality of Education for the Children; to create a conducive environment for Children Education   through incentives like games, sports & cultural activities; to establish & enforce the rights of the Street Children; and to establish clean Environment in the Society.
