One scholarship including tuition, books, supplies, and clothing
costs $50 per year. Furnishing a science laboratory costs $2500;
books for a library $ 1500, set of four computers with accessories
$3000. Improving a school with science equipment, library books,
computers, cultural and sports equipment and training teachers
costs $9,000 . Donor may sponsor any of these facilities. As
VAB volunteers work free, its management cost including fundraising
is very low (5%).

3 Join Dollar a Day Club
VAB had organized in November 2005 Dollar a Day Club for its loyal Patrons and
supporters. So far 20 donors signed up to this club and its
members contribute $360 a year, paid monthly or periodically
or once a year. Payment may be made by mail or by bank transfer
as noted below. Members are sent quarterly newsletter by e-mail
and their suggestions and comments are considered in developing
and managing VAB program activities. They will be acknowledged
in several VAB documents ( for example, newsletter, annual report
and fundraising journal) and VAB functions.
We urge you to join the Club and encourage us in carrying on
this much needed charitable work in Bangladesh. Many thanks
for your consideration.
